| Well, I have returned from my world travels. Not really, but that is what it must seem like since I have not written in so long. What have I been up to? If you have read Kailey’s blog, you would know that I went up to Jeff City to hang out there this weekend. We played a mean game of nerts with her parents. It’s funny how as I get older I can’t remember things as well. I think we ended the game in a draw. Those two are a bunch of cheats.
Other festivities included a trip up to MU to watch them take on the cornhuskers. Mizzou ended up winning and concluded the day by tearing down the goalposts. I fortunately wasn’t there for that since it was raining, and I am definitely not a MU fan. By the way Illinois put up a good fight for about 4 minutes, then allowing the other team to score 56 unanswered points in the first half. What a great homecoming game. There’s always basketball.
On our way back from Colombia, Kailey’s parents agreed to drive through Hartsburg, MO. I do have to say it was not as awesome as Hartsburg, IL. We at least have a flashing red light, a grain elevator, post office, bank, school, tanning bens, and of course Leesman Construction. LC 4 life. They did have a cool little bike shop, since Hartsburg is along the Kadi trail. Overall, I give it 3 stars on the cool small town meter.
For all of you who like talk radio, I was on the radio last week on Thursday. It went pretty well and I even had some people call in. It is the coolest to have people actually listen to what you are saying. I would guess I will be on the radio again this winter. I will get a notice out beforehand, so I can increase my listener ship.
This week I do not have a lot going on. Work is busy and everyday it seems more is piling up. Bryan is gone next week, so it will give me time to get ahead. That’s all I got.

| The weekend is here! This has been a long week at work and I am ready for a break. Kailey and I are heading to CCH's fall retreat. It's suppose to be a b-e-a-utiful weekend in the great outdoors. Hopefully it doesn't rain. Other than fall retreat, I plan on watching the Cardinals on Sunday have their last regular season baseball game in Busch stadium. It is sad to see, but I am also excited about the new ballpark. Then, we are also heading into some hopefully great play-off series.
Last night, Kailey and I went over to Kyle and Amy's house to watch some good old Thursday night TV. Recent shows I am watching are Lost, Survivor, and the Apprentice. Out of the three I am most intriqued with Lost. It's such a weird show and I am curious to see what is really going on. Well, I need to get going, hope everyone has a great weekend.

| For my new year's resolution, I mean for my Sept 26 resolution, I want to write more blogs. I have a couple of friends and family who want me to post more often. I will try my best.
Anyway, this weekend was awesome. Not really, it did not start well at all. On friday night I went to do some barn swinging and on my first swing, the rope detached from the cielling and my arse went flying into the mats that didn't stop me. I ended up hitting the floor pretty hard and my back is still hurting today. I don't think I will be returning there anytime soon. Good news though, I called them today and asked if they would pay for me to go see a chiropractor a couple of times, which they agreed to. After hurting my back I decided I was going to take the rest of the weekend easy. Saturday I didn't do much except go over to the DogFest 2005 and listen to Illinois lose big time. I would highly encourage others to go to the DogFest 2006, it will be a real treat. It was pretty much pointless, but I realized that some people have to much of an obsession with their dogs. I probably can't say much, because I spoil Melon all the time. The great thing about Melon though, I feel like a grandparent, I can visit anytime I want, I don't have to discipline her, or take care of her, but I still get to have fun with her. That evening Kailey and I went over to Kyle and Amy's where we went on to kick them in Nerts. It has to be my favorite game right now. Kailey and I are getting pretty good, since we play it all the time by ourselves. We're dorks - oh well.
Tonight Kailey and I are heading over to Amy's to have super with her and her mom. I guess Teresa is excited about meeting Kailey. Hope everyone has a good week.

| Last week I was thinking, I have been living in Missouri for over a year now. I thought I would do a little reflecting. So far, I have enjoyed my time in Springfield, although I miss not being closer to my parents. I have learned a lot and have had some great things come my way so far. I have gotten involved at Southland Christian Church, and really feel the Lord wants me there. Also I assist Amy at the Schwietzer where my help is greatly needed. Having junior highers and highschoolers to hang around with gives me a lot of energy. God has gotten me involved in some good groups and I know He wants to take me deeper.
As for my work, I have been blessed with a career that is has become quite fun. I know I sound like a dork, but I get really get excited to help people figure out their finances. Even help them make some money. It helps though that I have Bryan here helping me out and getting me a lot of work.
As for friends, it's taken me a year to really start to get to know people outside of Kyle and Amy. Since meeting Kailey my good friends have almost doubled. I gotten to know people through church, CCH, and other organizations throughout town I am involved with, like Toastmasters and Springfield Little Theater. I feel blessed to have a lot of people around me to share life. I charish all the great times I get to have hanging out with the cool unit. There are just so many laughs to go around.
Last but far from being least, I have met Kailey. We have spent many hours together and have had a good time getting to know each other. She has added a lot to my life and I am very glad that I finally have a girlfriend - a girlfriend that has lasted more than 2 months.
Overall, things look good in Missouri. I pray God continues to bless me with great friends and family, a good job, and just plan happiness.

| So yesterday I actually had a post, but when I went to submit I lost everything I had written. I was very pissed and did not feel inclined to re-write my post.
Things have been busy lately. This last weekend Kailey and I went back to my home town to see what small town life is like. She got to meet a lot of my friends and family. It was my first time to bring a girlfriend back to meet the family. I think everyone liked what they saw. Overall it was a fun weekend. Monday I took her over to the University of Illinois to see the Fighting Illini take on Rutgers. What an amazing game. We came back to tie it in the forth quarter and then win it in overtime 33-30. She also got to see the campus and meet my good friends Karyn and Aaron. Then on Sunday my parents had a cook-out. I love family cook-outs. They are fun and there is always plenty of food.
Yesterday, as Kailey already posted, we went to her cousins football game. Another overtime game. Chad had a good game as far as my amatuer eye could tell. It was a great game and they ended up coming back in the forth quarter and winning it in overtime. Kind of similiar to the Illini game.
Last weekend Kailey and I went up to Jefferson City to see her uncle and cousin perform in the Fiddler on the Roof. It was the first time I had seen the musical. Kailey's uncle was the lead, Tevye, and he did a great job. I would recommend the show to anyone. Also while I was in Jeff City I got a nice little plant stand. It really makes the apartment look better now that the boxes are not there. Thanks Karen. Well, I hope everyone has a great week.
